R. Frederick (Fred) Decosimo has more than 30 years experience in both public accounting and consulting services. He is a member and principal with Joseph Decosimo and Company, PLLC.

Mr. Decosimo has extensive experience in private equity capital formation and assisting clients in obtaining both private and public funding. His corporate finance experience has also included bank debt negotiations, due diligence preceding acquisitions and mergers, litigation support, structuring limited partnerships, joint ventures, and equity investments. His industry experience includes medical, manufacturing, real estate, and bulk vending and distribution. Mr. Decosimo has consulted and/or arranged both debt and equity financing of multi-family and single- family residential projects, retail projects, resort properties, and mixed use properties throughout the Southeast. He also has extensive development experience both as an investor and principal. He has worked extensively with family owned businesses and counseled them on ownership alternatives, management and organizational structure.

Mr. Decosimo’s consulting experience has included assistance from start-up through initial public offerings and later stage offerings of companies in medical services and manufacturing.

Mr. Decosimo is an active community leader and serves on numerous civic boards. In 2002, he served as chairman of the United Way of Greater Chattanooga campaign.

Mr. Decosimo received a Bachelor of Business Administration with honors from the University of Georgia and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was awarded the Certified Public Accountant designation in 1978.
