John (Jack) K. Zollinger is a former U.S. Navy nuclear submarine and intelligence officer with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and an MBA from The Tuck School at Dartmouth. He has significant merger and acquisition experience, having owned three business intermediary offices.
Mr. Zollinger is a member of M&A Source and the Association for Corporate Growth. He formerly served on the Advisory Board of the Raymond Miles Foundation for Business Appraisal Research at the Institute of Business Appraisers.
Mr. Zollinger has broad operational experience in the contract manufacturing, cruise ship, construction, and food service equipment manufacturing industries, as well as in international shipyard operations, the maintenance and operation of nuclear power and ancillary systems, military-industrial complex contracting, and national intelligence programs.
He is the Vice President of the Board of Directors of Midwest Coalition of Affordable Housing (MCFAH), a Michigan-based, HUD qualified non-profit corporation. MCFAH focuses on acquiring Section 8 HAP (Housing Assistance Program) properties using mark-to-market debt restructuring and works closely with for-profit organizations on a joint venture basis. One of the joint venture partners owns and operates 68 affordable housing communities in 9 states and specializes in the preservation of affordable housing.
